ScoutiveAI exists because I was the kid nobody came to find. I had to figure out how to get recruited on my own — and once I did, I knew I had to build something so no athlete ever has to go through that alone.

The Origin

I grew up in Temecula, California, playing quarterback with one goal: play college football. I worked the weight room, studied the playbook, and put everything into my game. But when recruiting season came, the letters didn't come with it. I was 6'3", had the tools, but I was buried on the depth chart at a program where the coaches didn't have time to market me — and I didn't know how to market myself.

What nobody tells under-recruited kids is that the college football system isn't designed to find you. It's designed for athletes who already have visibility — kids at powerhouse programs with full recruiting staffs, or kids whose parents know how to work the system. If you're not already on a coach's radar, the default is silence.

I started doing what most high school athletes never think to do: I researched programs myself. I found the right coaches, identified where roster need matched my profile, and started sending emails — real, specific, personalized emails that showed I understood their program and had something to offer. Not form letters. Not mass blasts. Actual targeted outreach based on intel I dug up myself.

It worked. I earned a quarterback opportunity at Division I South Dakota — not because a recruiter found me, not because I had a viral highlight reel, but because I learned the hidden mechanics of how recruiting actually works and executed against them deliberately. That experience changed everything about how I see athletic recruiting.
